General FAQs

Do you do requests?

I have done requests in the past for my friends and fellow role-players, but unless I know you, you'll have to pay for your picture to be done.

PAY? How come? How much? What does that get me?

Pay, yes, pay. If you like my work enough to have your picture done by me, doesn't that mean something? I do white background character sheets for $10.00 each and colored background character sheets for $15.00 each. Pictures come standard 600 pixels tall by how ever wide it takes. Other sizes can be done, but have to be requested. Pictures are sent electronically, which means, I email it to you. If you would like an 8" x 10" glossy print (signed of course) then you can add $5.00 onto the price to cover printing and shipping supplies. See more info under order prints.

I'm not an Role-Player, but I still want to have to create a piece of art for me, is that ok?

I do commission work. I put my character sheets up on my site because most of my art has been used in that such manner. If you like my artwork and are interested in commissioning me for a custom piece, then please, EMAIL ME for more information.

What if I'm a non-profit group?

Just let me know. Non-profit groups can get work done for free or done for trade (i,e...advertisement, etc).

What materials do you use?

Well for starters I usually draw my pictures out in pencil. I like 6h because it is light and erases easily. I also have a selection of generic markers, pencils , colored pencils and crayons. For software I use Jasc Paint Shop Pro 7. I have tried Adobe Photoshop, and my PSP works just fine for me. For the less cel-shaded pieces, I use a Aiptek 12000U tablet (Yes, you can get a BIG tablet for a hundred bucks) with Painter 7.

Will you critique me if I send you my stuff?

Well I really don't think that I'm the best person to be doing that, considering I'm not a pro. I suggest joining the How to Draw Manga Gallery. There you can share your pictures with your peers and be critqued by them as well. Check my links for more information.

Can we exchange links?

Sure, email me your site and I'll go visit. I don't mind doing link exchanges, but I've got to honestly like your site. ^_^

Hey, where did some of the pictures go?

Like all websites that are purchased, they have space and bandwidth limits. I am currently sharing my webspace with three websites. To save space I only put up the pictures that I really really liked, while still allowing new ones to be added.

Art Usage FAQs

Can I use your pictures?

Well it depends on how you want to use them.

Well can I use your pictures to make graphics for my site?

No. Please do not use any of my pictures, site graphics, ANYTHING on a website of your own. I am also a freelance web designer and if you really like my work, then please EMAIL ME and let me know. I am sure that we can work something out.

Can I edit/modify your pictures in anyway?

No. Editing or modifying another artist's pictures in anyway is a strict violation of copyright laws. Please do not do so. Not only is it illegal, it's just plain rude.

Can I use one or more of your pictures for my rp character?

I would rather you not. Most of these pictures are of MY personal characters, and some are even OTHER people's characters that I have done. My character pictures start at just $10.00...isn't your most favorite rp character worth ten bucks?

Please...I'll give you credit, link to you and do all that sorts of stuff...

While I would honestly not have you use a picture for your character, there is no way for me to hunt you down and make you stop. However, if I do come across one of my pictures some where on the internet and see the web address or my signature edited out, or anything done to them...I will not be a happy camper >_<

Can I use them for a desktop/winamp skin/print them out and hang them in my room?

That's okie pokie. Using my pictures for personal use, like as a desktop is fine. However, making a desktop out of one my pictures and then putting it up for sale somewhere is not!

Can I use your pictures for fanart?

If you want to learn by trying to copy one of my pictures...that's ok. If you want to say "Hey, I like your art." by making me a present...that's ok too. However, do not blatantly rip off my original pieces and claim they are your own to do whatever you please with...I will eventually find you and break my foot off in your @$$.

So overall, what are you trying to say?

As long as it's for personal private use, you can do what you like with my pictures, as long as you aren't making a profit off of them, redistribute/publishing them, posting them online without giving credit to me, directly linking to my server, or anything like that. Personal, private use ONLY. If you really are unsure if what you want to do with one of my pictures might upset me...then just ask me. Thanks.
