February 21st, 2005 *looks over at MoJo's post* I've really got to start moderating that column over there. So instead of talking about the comic, this week I am going to do some shamless plugging. Head out to your local Gamestop and pick up a copy of La Pucelle Tactics for the PS2. This is one of the best games that no one is playing. It is a strategy RPG (for anyone over 15, think Shining Force for the Genesis, only anime and cuter). It has an awsome medieval-anime environment with tons of gameplay! There's lots of characters and tons of item customizing that you can do. I'm on hour 120 and I think that I can still do more...but then again, I'm an RPG masochist. In the reading spotlight, I want to suggest Alice 19th by Yu Watase. The famed creator of Ceres, Fushi Yugi and now Imadoki, has not dissapointed with her 7 book work, Alice 19th. I won't say much for fear of giving the story away, but all I have to say is pick up a volume, thumb through. The story and the art will surely impress. February 21st, 2005 This weeks comic is every nerd's dream. Its that 6'4 girl in High School that you always wanted but you were 5'2 with an overbite. Its that prom date that promised you the world but you came home with a Kiss and a huge bill for a limo, a flower, and some other crap. And last but not least its that valentines day when you send a special valentines day over a 3 day weekend...and realize you put it in the class bully's valentines box. Muvesto is evolving quicker than darwin can count. Not to sound McDonalde's -ie but "I'm lovin" the art. Shiva's doin an awesome job depicting scenery and storylines. Stay tuned!
