So we're back from Port Con Maine! Well we've been back for a while, just hiding! First of all, I want to say thanks to everyone who either came to the art panels or stopped by our table in the artist's alley. Special thanks to you who bought prints or sketches! You have single handedly funded my admission to Port Con 2005. Woot to you!

Port Con was lots of fun. I got to co-run some panels with Nami from Seraphic Blue and Dave from Paradox Lost. You should go visit them...NOW and bask in their comic goodness. I also got to sit next to MangaPunkSai in the artists alley. She's a DA big shot! Well, she's a gallery admin, and that's a big shot in my book. She's pretty swank, so visit her too! I've started wrting up some Port Con highlights in my deviant art journal, but I won't have any off of Muy Muvesto! until my pictures come back (yes I still develop. I'm planning on getting a digital camera...REALLY I am!) So be looking for those in July.

Lastly, we are starting Volume 3! Woot, this is the first page of the third issue! I know what you are thinking...third issue, but you don't even have the cover art for the second one up...well, that's because...I suck and because my cover muse has not decided to visit me since the craptacular first issue cover. So, yeah...anyhoo, we are starting a new storyline for the crew of Muy Muvesto! with or without a cover, so there!

I tired now...I go away for another week. ^_^

RECAP:

1. Kiriban 10,000
2. The Contest! ENDS JULY 31ST
3. Port Con was awsome!

4. 7 = C
5. Vol 3 baby!

Well Portcon Maine 2004 has come and gone. But certain pictures and descriptions will never leave my mind ever again.

My first delving into cosplay was a total disaster..as my cheaply made, half ass Keitaro costume which consisted of actually clothing from my everyday wardrobe . All I had to do was wear a stinking wig...and I couldn't even do that right.

I give my thanks to Nami, Dave and especially Shiva for putting up with my nonsense (well Shiva has to EVERY day).

And time for my Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell tip of the week. When trying to be stealthy...don't turn on the light switch instead of grabbing your victim...chances are they will go "What the H3!! was that?" and end your mission promptly.

Until next week when I have something more constructive to say.......
