April 1st , 2004 Two words... APRIL FOOLS! We got you good! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! For those of you who don't read the comic until the weekend, sorry you missed the gag. If you go back to strip 28 and then forward it may still be funny, probably not...but this is a lesson to you "oh I don't want to read it when it's updated" types...READ IT WHEN IT'S UPDATED...which is Monday mornings, usually around 8am EST. Hmmm...think, think, news? Ah, yes, there is news! Lots of it. 1 - I don't like the Screensavers now that good ol Leo is gone. Kevin is a deuche bag. I know that he and Sarah have hooked up, but come on, you don't have to do it on spy camera ya know? 2 - Got a boss new printer so those Muy Muvesto posters can become a reality. Downside, the paper is about 2.50 a sheet...so my profit is nil. Oh well, I am not in this for the money but for the fun and for the love of art. 2a - Starting poster concept. I promise it'll be sweet. 3 - April Freakin' Fools! Got you! 4 - I think this is my longest update ever...inversly, maybe this should be MoJo's shortest update ever. Yah? No...poop, I hear him in the background, he's saying "I'm going to have a nice long update, blah, blah, freaking, blaahhhhhhhh..." April 1st , 2004 Well early yesterday night MuyMuvesto stock was taking a dive. Finally my hard work wasn't paying off. The profits were dropping like Pee-Wee hermans pants in a movie theater and it was time for me to get out. So I called up my broker. Her name is Me****a. She said she'd buy the company from me for $20.10. I knew it was a good time to sell and my insider trading scandal was guaranteed to score me more publicity and monies than this dump for a comic..so I sold it. She immediately fired me and well....Okay its all fake. APRIL FOOLS!!! I thought with Shiva last week. What could be the most hanius thing to do to our fanbase? Shut the website down? Nahh too harsh. Have me come to everyones site because I collect tons of privacy information that I sell to Jawas on Tatooine. Nah...I don't trust Jawas. No I said...let me pain the readers by having ME draw it. So Shiva agreed and insisted I draw the comic. She sat working on her poster concept while I looked at a blank piece of paper befuddled. Yeah I was gonna have to draw..but my hands..they like my brain..are stupid. So I started to map out where I wanted it to go. When SHIVA used to do it..it was simple..I just blurted out what I thought they should say and her hands magically made it happen. So I assumed it would go the same for me. Nope....it was a disaster. Shriek had a unibrow...those funny anime noses..though simple looking were complex for my 57 IQ mind and worst of all...my Idol G1G0....I couldn't even make him look like him. But it was just for a week right? So folks..remember to honor thy neighborhood web comic. It's not easy drawing those girls. Take it from me..I learned a lesson. And learning is half the battle! GI JOE!!!
